MaryAnn's resilience and leadership shine in Bedford, NY, where she has dedicated herself to fighting for her community and raising her daughter as a single mother. Her unwavering commitment to public service and historic achievements as Councilwoman and Town Supervisor exemplify her dedication to her community.
Being born and raised on a farm in segregated Mississippi, MaryAnn's early years ignited her passion for justice. She integrated the local public elementary school, demonstrating the force of good prevailing when a community came together over shared values – fighting for basic human and civil rights.
With a diverse career as an independent business woman, MaryAnn has worked at multinational businesses as an Information Technology professional. She has the experience to approach problems through a unique lens and work collectively with others to provide effective solutions.
As former Chair of the Bedford Democratic Committee and First Vice-chair of Westchester County Democratic Committee, MaryAnn is dedicated to inclusivity and progress. Her Councilwoman and Supervisor tenure spurred transformative community change.
